What are feathers and how do i get them?

Feathers are worn in your hair like flowers are(not including roses). These are gifts form the people Boondox who give them as presents in exchange for money which they need to help them improve where they live. Overall there are 7 feathers (Green, Blue, Yellow, Red, Purple, White & Rainbow) which are all gained by donating a certain amount. To donate money you must go to the city hall and talk to Pelly/Phyllis when they are on the town side(left) and choose 'donate' then select an amount. You can't buy any of the feathers from Nooks or order them from your catalogue!

Tips:

-You can only get one feather per day, so make sure you don't over donate.
-Ideally you should donate:
-Day 1 - 10,000 Bells
-Day 2 - 190,000 Bells
-Day 3 - 300,000 Bells
-Day 4 - 300,000 Bells
-Day 5 - 300,000 Bells
-Day 6 - 300,000 Bells
-Day 7 - 5,000,000 Bells**

** N.B. the maximum amount you can carry is 1,584,000 so make sure that you donate exactly 5million bells as any extra will be wasted.


These are the amounts for each feather:

Green Feather: Donate 10,000 Bells
Blue Feather: Donate 200,000 Bells
Yellow Feather: Donate 500,000 Bells
Red Feather: Donate 800,000 Bells
Purple Feather: Donate 1,100,000 Bells
White Feather: Donate 1,400,000 Bells
Rainbow Feather: Donate 6,400,000 Bells
