Dr. Shrunk is a psychiatrist/comedian that comes from 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM on a random day from Monday to Friday. He trys to get players in touch with their emotions. When Dr. Shrunk visits your town, you can talk to him to get an emotion to add to your touch keyboard. These emotions allow you to show emotions the way many of the villagers do in your town. You may get one emotion each time he comes to your town. An example is the emotion called "Shyness." It allows your character to blush in game when selected. After you receive the emotion Shyness, you can choose different types of emotions next time he comes. You can only keep four emotions at once, but you can continue to talk to Dr. Shrunk and change them around thoroughout the game. There are 29 emotions documented for the Japanese version of the game, Oideyo Doubutsu no Mori, and 21 for the US version.
